ABC will usher in the holiday season with another "Disney Family Singalong." On Monday, November 30 at 8:00 p.m., ABC will host "The Disney Holiday Singalong," a one-hour special in which celebrities and Broadway stars will come together to spread festive cheer.
Ryan Seacrest will return as host for the special, which features a star-studded lineup of talented performers singing their favorite Disney melodies and holiday classics. Viewers at home will be able to singalong as animated lyrics pop-up on-screen.
The announced lineup so far includes Korean pop group BTS, modern-day crooner Michael Bublé, pop stars Katy Perry and P!nk, Ciara, Broadway stars Leslie Odom Jr and Adam Lambert, Kerry Washington, Andrea Bocelli, Chloe x Halle, Derek Hough and Hayley Erbert and Julianne Hough. Here's the list of musical performances:
- Andrea Bocelli - "Silent Night"
- BTS - "Santa Claus Is Coming To Town"
- Michael Bublé - "It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas"
- Ciara - "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree"
- Chloe x Halle - "Do You Want to Build a Snowman?"
- Derek Hough and Hayley Erbert - "Hey Santa" and "Jingle Bells"
- Julianne Hough - "Whistle While You Work" and "Let It Snow"
- Adam Lambert - "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas"
- Leslie Odom Jr. - "What's This?"
- Katy Perry - "I'll Be Home for Christmas" and "Cozy Little Christmas"
- P!NK - "The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire)"
- Kerry Washington - "Joy to the World"
Additionally, the casts from Disney on Broadway's The Lion King, Aladdin and Frozen will reunite for a tribute to Broadway. They'll return to New York City's New Amsterdam Theater for a special performance of Frozen's "Let It Go." The theater industry has been one of the hardest-hit during the pandemic. Broadway has been closed due to the coronavirus since March, so this reunion will certainly be an emotional one.
This is now the third family singalong that ABC has hosted. The first aired on April 16, 2020, as a way to raise awareness for the efforts of Feeding America during the COVID-19 pandemic. It was met with such a warm reception that a second special aired on May 10. Both eventually made their way to Disney+, so it's definitely possible that The Disney Holiday Singalong will also be added to the streaming service.
