The eighth episode of Star Wars: The Clone Wars — The Final Season debuted on Friday, April 10th. "Together Again" brought an end to the arc involving Ahsoka Tano, the Martez sisters, and the Pykes. However, it also set up Ahsoka's return to the fray and the upcoming and highly anticipated Siege of Mandalore arc — which will bring the season to a close.
Ahsoka, as well as Rafa and Trace Martez, had been captured by the Pyke Syndicate. In this new behind-the-scenes video, Ahsoka Tano voice actress Ashley Eckstein reveals that the overall theme of the episode was "Friendship."
Executive producer and supervising director Dave Filoni explains that Ahsoka's unique outlook dates all the way back to the Qui-Gon Jinn from Star Wars: Episode I — The Phantom Menace. Speaking of The Phantom Menace, episode director Nathaniel Villenueva talks about Darth Maul's inclusion in the episode as well as that of Mandalorian leader Bo-Katan.
