Last Friday, Star Wars: The Clone Wars — The Final Season Episode 2 "A Distant Echo" debuted on the Disney+ streaming service. Henceforth, there will be spoilers for the aforementioned episode of Star Wars: The Clone Wars. If you haven't got around to checking out the latest episode, it's best to opt out now.

The episode closely followed up the cliffhanger ending of the season's first episode — wherein it is suggested that Arc Trooper Echo isn't dead after all. The character was last seen at the center of an explosion which seemingly killed him. However, it turns out that Echo just about managed to survive.

Based on what is revealed within the latest episode, the Separatists hooked Echo's ailing body up to an apparatus which kept him alive and sapped information from his mind. Suffice it to say, it's pretty eery.

Following the debut of Episode 2 "A Distant Echo," the official Star Wars YouTube channel shared a behind-the-scenes video in which the likes of Dave Filoni, Dee Bradley Baker, James Arnold Taylor, and more talk about the happenings of the episode — what they thought about it and how they went about putting it to screen.
