Raya and the Last Dragon is the next animated film from Walt Disney Animation Studios. The fantasy film stars Kelly Marie Tran, best known for her role in Star Wars: The Last Jedi, as well as Golden Globe winner Awkwafina. Tran will play Raya while Awkwafina will play the dragon in their human form, Sisu.

Tomorrow will see the debut of the first official trailer for Raya and the Last Dragon. Said trailer will premiere on Good Morning America and promptly be shared online. Stay tuned to Toonado; we will be sure to cover it.

Ahead of this trailer debut, Disney has shared a teaser poster for Raya and the Last Dragon featuring one of our first looks at the titular character. Check it out below (via DisneyStudios):

Raya and the Last Dragon is written by Adele Lim (Crazy Rich Asians) and Qui Nguyen and directed by Don Hall (Big Hero 6) and Carlos López Estrada (Blindspotting). The animated fantasy film is set in the mysterious realm of Kumandra and follows a warrior named Raya as she seeks the last dragon before an evil force, known as the Druun, can snuff out the realm.

Raya and the Last Dragon is set to arrive in theatres on March 12th, 2021.
