A little earlier than advertised, Disney has officially debuted the first trailer and poster for the next live-action remake of one of its animated classics, Peter Pan and Wendy.
The teaser sees Wendy arrive in the magical world of Neverland, where she encounters the Lost Boys, Tinkerbell the fairy, and the titular boy who does not age. Unfortunately, the villainous Captain Hook is also made aware of her presence.
With The Green Knight director David Lowery at the helm, we thought this might turn out to be a slightly different take on the story, but is this footage is any indication, it's going to be a fairly straightforward retelling.
Check out the trailer below, and let us know what you think.
Peter Pan & Wendy introduces Wendy Darling, a young girl afraid to leave her childhood home behind, who meets Peter Pan, a boy who refuses to grow up. Alongside her brothers and a tiny fairy, Tinker Bell, she travels with Peter to the magical world of Neverland.
