One of Disney's biggest successes came in the film Frozen, which became a franchise that has spawned hundreds of millions of dollars in films, television, and merchandise. However, through all of that, the series has never lost what made it special and continues to tell the story from new perspectives even after the films.

Olaf has been considered the fan-favorite character from the series, and that is due in no small part to the fantastic voice work by Josh Gad and his oblong yet completely lovable design. In fact, a brand new short focusing exclusively on the character titled, Once Upon a Snowman is getting ready to release and is just what the doctor ordered for fans of Frozen.

The new short acts as a prequel following Olaf from his creation and going, seemingly, up until the point he meets Anna and Kristoff. A brand new clip from the short has been released to celebrate its release today, on Disney+!

This new short is sure to bring a ton of smiles, and who knows, maybe this will be the start of something new for Olaf! We would love to hear your thoughts in the comments below!

The film follows Olaf’s first steps as he comes to life and searches for his identity in the snowy mountains outside Arendelle.

Once Upon A Snowman is available to watch on Disney+ right now!
