Beginning back in 2008, Star Wars: The Clone Wars is an animated series from Lucasfilm Animation that (predominantly) takes place between the events of Star Wars: Episode II — Attack of the Clones and Star Wars: Episode III — Revenge of the Sith. The series was cancelled back in 2014 for years until San Diego Comic-Con 2018 wherein a revival season was announced.
This revival season would be the seventh and last of Star Wars: The Clone Wars and debut weekly on the Disney+ streaming service. We're currently in the midst of that. In fact, the twelfth and final episode will be available to stream on Disney today. Of course, it's May 4th. This day is colloquially known as Star Wars Day — all for the pun "May the fourth be with you."
The finale of Star Wars: The Clone Wars — The Final Season, Star Wars: Episode IX — The Rise of Skywalker, and Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian aren't the only things that have been added to Disney+ in commemoration of Star Wars Day but also some snazzy new profile avatars (via StarWars.com).
There's D-0, Jabba the Hutt, and a porg from the live-action movie saga but also a plethora of Star Wars: The Clone Wars avatars. You can express yourself as Captain Rex, Bo-Katan, Darth Maul, Ahsoka, or one of the former Jedi Padawan's unique Clone Troopers. You can check them all out above, except for the new Ahsoka avatar.
