The Disney Lorcana Trading Card Game is finally coming to Disney World in Florida. Special activities inspired by the popular trading card game from Ravensburger will be held at EPCOT during the 2026 International Festival of the Arts, which runs in January and February.
The first experience is the Disney Lorcana Collection Quest, which appears to be brought over from Disney California Adventure. Details on the Walt Disney World blog are pretty vague, stating only that guests will open Disney Lorcana booster packs and trade cards with other guests in order to receive a limited-edition Magical Places promo card.
Open Disney Lorcana booster packs and trade cards with other Guests in the Illumineer’s Lounge in the Morocco Pavilion. Once you’ve collected your 4 cards, you’ll receive a limited-edition Magical Places promo card.
This sounds like the same activity that was available for a limited-time at Disney California Adventure. guests would head to the Sorcerer's Workshop and receive a free Disney Lorcana booster pack. They were invited to interact with other guests to find and trade Lorcana Quests in order to complete a quest that could earn a special Magical Places Belle - Accomplished Mystic promo card.
I'm also hoping the Illumineer's Lounge in the Morocco Pavilion is as magical as the Sorcerer's Workshop in California, because that looked like an amazing experience based on videos I've seen.
The second activity is the Ink & Find Scavenger Hunt. For the scavenger hunt, you'll have to search for "magical, larger-than-life trading cards" scattered around EPCOT. Once you locate the cards, you'll need to match them to special ink stickers on the map. Once complete, you'll receive a limited-edition Magical Places promo card.
This sounds like a Disney Lorcana twist of EPCOT's usual scavenger hunts that are created for the park's various festivals throughout the year. Normally, the International Festival of hte Arts as a Figment-inspired scavenger hunt, so we're not sure if this Disney Lorcana version will be completely replacing it or running in tandem.
Those interested in participating in these activities can pick up a complimentary Festival Questbook on the bridge to the World Showcase. The fact it's complimentary leads me to believe that both experiences will be free for all park guests; however, they will only be available while supplies last.
Once the Questbook is completed, you can pick up the Magical Places promo cards from the Illumineer's Lounge in the Morocco Pavilion, or from Figment’s Inspiration Station at The Odyssey. EPCOT's Festival of the Arts runs from January 16 to February 23, and can be experienced by anyone who has a park admission.
Festival of the Arts is all about celebrating creativity, from vibrant artwork to delectable cuisine and more. Even if you don't play the actual trading card game, one of the great things about Disney Lorcana is the amazing artwork, making it a perfect fit the festival. Now here's hoping we finally get some Kingdom Hearts artwork as well.
