With Halloween right around the corner, Disney+ has highlighted the movies and shows you can watch on the streaming service to get into the spooky season. Disney+ is already home to numerous creepy classics, spooky shorts, and haunting specials/television episodes, but next month we can also look forward to some new releases.
The second annual Hallowestream will feature the debut of LEGO Star Wars Terrifying Tales on October 1. This CG-animated special welcomes viewers to Castle Vader, the galaxy’s first all-inclusive, sith-inspired luxury resort. Joined by Poe Dameron and BB-8, viewers will experience a trio of scary stories from across the Star Wars timeline spun by Darth Vader’s loyal servant, Vanee.
Muppets Haunted Mansion is also premiering on Disney+ on October 8. In this chilling Halloween special, Gonzo is dared to stay one night at the iconic Haunted Mansion located in disney’s theme park.
If you’re in the mood for some classics, Disney+ is already home to The Nightmare Before Christmas, Frankenweenie, Hocus Pocus, The Haunted Mansion, and Halloweentown. There are also a number of shorts, including Toy Story of Terror!, Lonesome Ghosts, and Trick or Treat.
