The Disney Family Singalong television special was such a hit and so well received when it aired on ABC last month, that a second one was announced almost immediately. Ahead of its premiere on ABC on May 10th (Mother's Day), Disney has revealed the first round of celebrity guest singers for The Disney Family Singalong: Volume II. Like the first special, there is some major star power participating.
Among the celebrities who will be performing from their homes are Chloe x Halle, Billy Eichner, Hayley Erbert, Halsey, Josh Gad, Donald Glover, Derek Hough, Julianne Hough, Idina Menzel, Miguel, Keke Palmer, Ben Platt, Seth Rogen, Anika Noni Rose, Walter Russell III, Rebel Wilson, Shakira, and Disney on Broadway stars Merle Dandridge, Heather Headley, Adam Jacobs, Caissie Levy, Kara Lindsay, Kevin Massey, and Josh Strickland. This is only the first round of celebrity guests announced. It sounds like more will be revealed shortly.
As for what they'll each be signing, Idina Menzel and Ben Platt will be singing the beautiful duet "A Whole New World" from Aladdin, while Josh Gad will be reprising his role as Olaf when he sings "When I Am Older" from Frozen 2. Seth Rogen, Billy Eichner, Donald Glover, and Walter Russell III will be singing "Hakuna Matata" from The Lion King. Check out the list of songs and performances announced so far:

Ryan Seacrest will be returning as host as the signature animated Mickey will be back to help guide the on-screen lyrics, allowing audiences to sing along at home. In addition to providing families some much-needed joy and entertainment during the stressful times of COVID-19, The Disney Family Singalong: Volume II will raise awareness about Feeding America.
Following its airing on ABC on May 10, The Disney Family Singalong: Volume II will be made available on Disney+ in the following days. It took less than a week for the first one to arrive on the streaming service.
