Ubisoft has announced that they're going to be adapting some of their popular video game franchises into animated television shows. Earlier today, we covered Captain Laserhawk: A Blood Dragon Vibe which will be an adaptation of Far Cry: Blood Dragon and developed by Adi Shankar — of the Castlevania series that's available exclusively on Netflix.

Another of Ubisoft's popular games which is set for an animated spinoff is Watch Dogs. While the game series has consisted of mature and violent entries up until now, the show couldn't be more different. Currently, we don't have an official title for the animated series but it's said to be a "cybermystery."

The games publisher has shared some official artwork for the Watch Dogs animated series which makes it clear that the show will be unlike anything that has come out of the franchise thus far. It's a colourful and childish aesthetic — which is fitting as the show is reportedly supposed to be aimed at tweens.
