One of
the most hotly anticipated shows that will be coming to Disney+ when it launches in November is
Star Wars Rebels. As well as that popular animated series,
Star Wars: The Clone Wars will be returning with its seventh season and Star Wars Resistance will also be with its second and final one.
All of those
Star Wars shows hail from Lucasfilm Animation. The studio is also responsible for basically every LEGO
Star Wars animated movie as well as the stylish
Star Wars: Forces of Destiny shorts — which focus on the many female heroes of the galaxy far, far away.
The only project to come from the studio outside of
Star Wars was the George Lucas-directed animated film by the name of
Strange Magic which released in 2015.
Star Wars animated films and shows are Lucasfilm Animation's forté so they've ingrained it within their identity with their new logo.
