In case you have been living in a pineapple under the sea, a remake of the classic SpongeBob Squarepants: Battle for Bikini Bottom video game is getting released in a few more months. In fact, developer THQ Nordic just announced — yesterday, to be more precise — that the game will finally be hitting store shelves on the 23rd of June.
Since the original game was released in 2003 for home consoles, it is only natural that SpongeBob Squarepants: Battle for Bikini Bottom Rehydrated would see some very noticeable visual improvements, and every trailer the developers have released is further proof of that.
SpongeBob Squarepants: Battle for Bikini Bottom Rehydrated isn't just a prettier version of the original, as THQ Nordic has also revealed that the game will be getting a new multiplayer mode for players to look forward to, as well as cut content from the original game.
As mentioned above, SpongeBob Squarepants: Battle for Bikini Bottom Rehydrated is only a couple of months away from releasing, and THQ Nordic has just released yet another gameplay trailer for the remae; this time focusing on the rolling green hills of Jellyfish Fields.
