ViacomCBS announced that Paramount+ will launch in the United Stateson March 4. The launch will act as a rebrand and expansion of the company's current streaming service CBS All Access, which is already home to many popular brands including Nickelodeon, Comedy Central MTV, and more.

Paramount+ will effectively become the new home of many of these brands' popular animated shows, including Nickelodeon's The Legend of Korra and SpongeBob SquarePants. Beloved Nicktoons classics like Aaahh!!! Real Monsters, Doug, Rugrats, and Rocko's Modern Life will also be featured on the rebranded service along with all the rest of the animated kid shows currently featured on CBS All Access.

Star Trek: Lower Decks, Star Trek The Animated Series, and all future Star Trek animated projects will be featured on Paramount+. Additionally, many MTV animated classics, like Daria and Beavis and Butt-head, will stream on the rebranded service.

Basically, everything that's currently on CBS All Access will migrate to Paramount+. Plus ViacomCBS has major plans to expand its animated slate on the streaming service. The previously announced original SpongeBob prequel series, Kamp Koral: SpongeBob's Under Years, will debut on Paramount+ along with The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge On The Run in early 2021.

Paramount+ will also launch internationally, debuting in Latin America on March 4, 2021; the Nordics on March 25, 2021; and Australia in mid-2021. In Canada, CBS All Access will be rebranded to Paramount+ on March 4, 2021, with the expanded offering available later in the year.

On February 24, ViacomCBS will lay out its comprehensive overview for the company's streaming strategy, including Paramount+, Plut TV, and Showtime OTT.
