Netflix is stepping into the ring of cyber-boxing with the first teaser trailer for Levius, a new anime series debuting on the streaming service this winter.

Hot on the heels of the first trailer for 7Seeds, Netflix has debuted a teaser for another anime hitting the streaming service later this year - Levius.

Based on the Japanese manga written and illustrated by Haruhisa Nakata, Levius welcomes us to "an age where devices are powered by steam, technology that fuses bodies to machinery makes cyber-boxing fights immensely popular."

More specifically, the series follows a young man named Levius who lost a lot in a devasting war, including his arm which has been replaced by a metal prosthetic. With his father dead and his mother comatose, Levius lives with his Uncle Zacks, who helps get the young man get involved in the brutal sport of cyborg boxing.



A young man named Levius is drawn into these fights through what can only be destiny, but his talents will be what determine his future.

Levius is set to debut on Netflix this winter.
