Ahead of its premiere this week, Netflix has released a new clip from
Fast & Furious: Spy Racers, the animated series based on Universal's blockbuster action-racing franchise. This latest clip is a little more tame than the previous one, which
featured an exciting boat heist, but it serves as an introduction to the main cast of characters.
The series follows Tony Toretto, the cousin of Dom, as he's recruited by a government agency to infiltrate SH1FT3R, an elite racing league serving as a front for a nefarious crime organization bent on world domination. The new clip takes place shortly after Tony wins a SH1FT3R race and meets Shashi and Layla.
Meet the Tony's friends — Echo, Cisco, Frostee — who will assist Tony in infiltrating SH1FT3R in the clip below.
Tony finally gets to meet Shashi and Layla after winning a SH1FT3R race! But Tony and his crew still have to prove themselves if they want to stick around.
Fast & Furious: Spy Racers ais executive produced by Tim Hedrick, Bret Haaland, Vin Diesel, Neal H. Moritz, and Chris Morgan, with Hedrick and Haaland serving as the series showrunners. It races onto Netflix on December 26.
