The ante has been decidedly upped as season 2 of Disney XD's DuckTales reboot looks absolutely bonkers! Check out the new trailer below and a new poster from Entertainment Weekly which confirms some exciting additions.

This news shouldn't be terribly surprising as the reboot has been alludding to a shared-universe concept since it first began back in 2017.
It seems the second season, which kicked off on October 2018 and ran for 16 episodes is simply on a midseason break as this new batch of episodes will be an extension of season 2 rather than the start of season 3. There's still a third season on the way (
as previously reported) but it looks to be quite far out if the show still has to close out season 2.
