Classic FROSTY THE SNOWMAN & FROSTY RETURNS Animated Specials To Air On CBS Tonight, At 8PM
1969 animated classic Frosty The Snowman (and its follow-up Frosty Returns) will be airing tonight at 8pm to mark the beginning of the Christmas build-up.
CBS will be airing the classic animated Frosty The Snowman special, from 1969, tonight at 8:00pm. And what's more; its, albeit less-beloved, follow-up Frosty Returns will be airing immediately afterwards at 8:30pm.
The special's story follows a group of school children builds a snowman called Frosty and place a hat which made him come alive with magic, but after noticing the high hot temperature and feared that he would get melted, Frosty, along with young girl Karen and a rabbit named Hocus Pocus, must go to the North Pole to be from melting.
Jimmy Durante stars and sings in the film - the oh so famous song of the same name. Billy De Wolfe stars as Professor Hinkle and The Magician, while Jackie Vernon voices Frosty himself. Paul Frees voices Santa Claus, a traffic cop, and more while June Foray voices the teacher, Karen, and others.
It'll be airing right after another animated classic, that being How The Grinch Stole Christmas, which airs shortly beforehand - for more information on that, click here.
