Yesterday,
Netflix released the very first teaser trailer for their upcoming
Ghost in the Shell animated series. It's called
Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045 (or
Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex 2045 in full) and makes use of a 3D computer-generated art style.
Shinji Aramaki and Kenji Kamiyama direct
Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045 and Ilya Kuvshinov is responsible for the character design. The animation style and character design have proven quite divisive since the teaser made its debut but it seems to have been warmly received for the most part.
As well as a teaser, which you can check out below, a poster for
Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045 has surfaced online (via
AnimeMojo). This poster is quite simplistic but still pretty cool and provides us a good look at Major's new look. Check it out below:
