We Bare Bears is an American animated series that premiered on Cartoon Network and has been airing since 2015. The show follows a trio of bears called Grizzly, Panda, and Ice Bear as they attempt to integrate themselves with the human world. Respectively, the three bears are voiced by Eric Edelstein, Bobby Moynihan, and Demetri Martin.
An animated movie based on the series will be debuting online later this month. That is to say, We Bare Bears: The Movie will be available to purchase digitally from the likes of iTunes, Google Play, and Amazon. David Chong, the creator of We Bare Bears, serves as both director and writer.
Only about two weeks ago, Cartoon Network announced We Bare Bears: The Movie will be released digitally on June 8th. However, that release date is no longer accurate. Instead, We Bare Bears: The Movie will now become available for purchase on June 30th.
Cartoon Network recently officially announced the release date delay over on Twitter (via @CartoonNetwork), though, they didn't provide their reasoning. There's a chance that the delay is on account of the ongoing protests that are currently enrapturing most of the United States. The protests have been the cause of many a delay as of late, after all.
In We Bare Bears The Movie, when the bears' love of food trucks and viral videos gets out of hand, it catches the attention of the menacing Agent Trout from the National Wildlife Control, who pledges to restore the 'natural order' by separating them forever," Cartoon Network said of the upcoming movie when its release date was first announced. "Chased from their home, Grizz decides there’s only one thing they can do to find refuge - move to Canada! The Bears embark on an epic road trip filled with new friends, dangerous obstacles, and massive parties. But most importantly, the perilous journey will force the Bears to face how they first met and became brothers, in order to keep their family bond from splitting apart.
We Bare Bears: The Movie releases digitally on June 30th, 2020.
