Next month, moviegoers will return to the land of Arendelle and embark on a brand new magical adventure in
Frozen 2. The sequel to 2013's animated blockbuster will build upon the lore of the franchise as Elsa, Anna, Kristoff, Olaf, and Sven venture into the unknown to the enchanted forest and dark seas beyond Arendelle.
It is here in this unknown where Elsa (and the audience) will learn answers to the lingering questions from the first film, such as why was she born with magical powers? While not spoiled in these new 30-second teaser spots, we do get a glimpse of the upcoming epic adventure.
Why was Elsa born with magical powers? What truths about the past await Elsa as she ventures into the unknown to the enchanted forests and dark seas beyond Arendelle? The answers are calling her but also threatening her kingdom. Together with Anna, Kristoff, Olaf and Sven, she'll face a dangerous but remarkable journey. In “Frozen,” Elsa feared her powers were too much for the world. In “Frozen 2,” she must hope they are enough.
Frozen 2 arrives in theaters next month on November 22.
