Toy Story 4 didn't quite go to infinity and beyond in its opening weekend at the box office, but another solid weekend has pushed the fourthquel to close to $500 million at the worldwide box office.
Toy Story 4 hauled in $57 million domestically, topping the charts for the second week straight and bringing its 10-day total to $237 million. According to
Deadline, it's pacing 4 percent ahead of
Toy Story 3 at the same point; that film ended its domestic run with $415 million.
An additional $80.6 million was earned overseas for a $259.6 million international cume.
All together,
Toy Story 4 sits at a global total of $496.5 million. The question now is how long its legs can stretch with some hefty competition coming this week in Marvel's
Spider-Man: Far From Home.
Toy Story 4 has already surpassed the global box office total of
Toy Story ($373.5M) and is practically guaranteed to pass
Toy Story 2 ($497.3M). But it has quite a way to go to catch
Toy Story 3's $1.06 billion worldwide total.
