The review embargo for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem has now lifted, and critics have been sharing their verdicts to Rotten Tomatoes. So far, with 23 reviews counted, the reboot us sitting at a near-perfect 96%!
This is obviously a terrific start for the Seth Rogen-produced animated adventure, which has garnered high praise for its visual style, stellar voice-acting, and funny, emotionally satisfying story.
It sounds like the third act is a little messy, and several reviews mention that not all of the Heroes in a Half-Shell are given enough time to shine. Even so, there's only a single outright negative review so far.

The cast also includes Jackie Chan as Splinter, Hannibal Buress as Genghis Frog, Rose Byrne as Leatherhead, Ice Cube as Superfly, Natasia Demetriou as Wingnut, Ayo Edebiri as April O’Neil, Giancarlo Esposito as Baxter Stockman, Post Malone as Ray Fillet, Paul Rudd as Mondo Gecko, and Maya Rudolph as Cynthia Utrom.
Jeff Rowe (The Mitchells vs. the Machines) directed Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, which is produced by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg.
