This Video Breaks Down The Epic New Trailer For Jon Favreau's Remake Of THE LION KING

The first trailer for the The Lion King remake sees an iconic scene remade with a pseudo-live-action aesthetic, but that isn't all it features. This new video goes through all the things you might have missed.

The first trailer for Jon Favreau's highly-anticipated remake of, 1994 animated classic, The Lion King recently released, became one of the biggest ever, and saw a recreation of one of cinema's most well-known and iconic scenes.

This new video, from the YouTube channel New Rockstars, breaks down the trailer, explaining Easter Eggs and details which call back to the original animated film as well as others. It also does a good job providing a rundown of just what the remake is about, who's in it, and the like.

Donald Glover (Solo: A Star Wars Story, Spider-Man: Homecoming) will play the lead of Simba, Beyonce Knowles (singer-songwriter) will voice Nala, Chiwetel Ejiofor (Doctor Strange, 12 Years A Slave) will voice Scar, Seth Rogen (Superbad, Neighbors) will voice Pumbaa, Billy Eichner will voice Timon, John Oliver will voice Zazu, the likes of Keegan-Michael Key, Eric Andre, and more will feature, as well as James Earl Jones who will be reprising the role of Mufasa.
