A theater in Montréal has successfully managed to scar a young generation of kids who were taken to see Warner Bros. and Legendary's
Detective Pikachu; showing Warner Bros. and New Line Cinema's R-rated
The Curse of La Llorona in its stead.
When it comes to screw ups, it just doesn't get sny worse than this, but what makes this even more sad/hilarious, is the fact that the kids also had to sit through trailers for
Anabelle Comes Home,
Joker, and the
Child's Play reboot before
The Curse of La Llorona even began; all of this while the kids were still waiting for
Detective Pikachu to begin.
Since both
Detective Pikachu and
The Curse of La Llorona are movies published by Warner Bros. it is easy to see where the problem could have lied. It's still a pretty big screw up, and hopefully the kids finally got to watch the real family friendly
Detective Pikachu. What a time to be alive.
