yesterday's poster reveal and releaese date announcement for he
SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run, Paramount Pictures has debuted a trailer for the movie. It's our best-look yet at what the first-ever all CGI adaptation of the beloved Nickelodeon cartoon will look like when it heads to the big screen next year.
The trailer also shows off the crazy shenanigans and hilarious hijinks that SpongeBob and Patrick will get into as they embark on an adventure to save Gary, who has been snail-napped. While on this rescue mission, the best-friend duo will find themselves in The Lost City of Atlantic City, where all sorts of distractions and dangers reside.
SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run is the third feature based on the beloved Nickelodeon franchise. It's directed by Tim Hill (
Alvin and the Chipmunks) and includes the vocal talents from Kelly Marie Tran, Awkwafina, and Reggie Watts. There's even another amazing surprise cameo revealed in the trailer that I won't spoil.
