The very first trailer for Paramount Pictures' live-action Sonic the Hedgehog movie was released just a few weeks ago; getting a lot of fair and legitimate criticism due to how bad it was; especially focusing on Sonic's horrid redesign that looked absolutely nothing like his video game counterpart.

On the very same day that the trailer was release, the Sonic the Hedgehog movie Director, Jeff Fowler, addressed fan concerns and revealed that the character's design was going to be changed; giving fans hope now that they're finally be able to see a Sonic the Hedgehog movie with a character that actually resembles the one from the games.

Just a few days ago, a Sonic fan has meddled a bit with the original trailer released by Paramount Pictures, and replacing Sonic with a design that looks a lot more like the beloved character from Sega's iconic Sonic the Hedgehog series; giving us a good idea of what to expect when Paramount releases a new trailer with the new design.

Check it out:

Sonic the Hedgehog is a live-action adventure comedy based on the global blockbuster videogame franchise from Sega that centers on the infamously brash bright blue hedgehog. The film follows the (mis)adventures of Sonic as he navigates the complexities of life on Earth with his newfound – human – best friend Tom Wachowski (James Marsden). Sonic and Tom join forces to try and stop the villainous Dr. Robotnik (Jim Carrey) from capturing Sonic and using his immense powers for world domination. The film also stars Tika Sumpter and Ben Schwartz as the voice of Sonic.

Sonic the Hedgehog speeds into theaters on the 14th of February.
