Following the recent release of the first official image of Isabelle Moner as the title character in Paramount's live-action Dora the Explorer movie, another actress has signed on to the film.

According to a new report from The Hollywood Reporter, Eva Longoria (Dog Days and Desperate Housewives) will play the character Elena, the mother of Moner's Dora, in the upcoming feature film.

It's currently unclear how big of a role the star will have in the live-action picture, but this means Longoria has joined an already impressive cast that includes Eugenio Derbez, Micke Moreno, Madeleine Madden and Adriana Barraza.

Dora the Explorer is set to hit  theaters on August 2, 2019 and will be directed by James Bobin, whose directing credits include Muppets Most Wanted.
