A new trailer for The LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special dropped today and it looks like a silly romp that should provide great joy for fans of the franchise.
The trailer takes us to a galaxy far, far away as we see our heroes come together to celebrate Life Day. But when Rey hears adventure calling, she discovers a key to the galaxy's past. She quickly finds herself transported across timelines, revisiting moments and characters from all three Star Wars trilogies.
We already know many fan-favorite characters will be popping up in this holiday special but the trailer revealed today a cameo that probably no one expected: Baby Yoda from The Mandalorian.
Star Wars doesn't exactly have the best track record when it comes to holiday specials, but The LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special definitely looks like a fun time. In typical LEGO fashion, there seems to be a good amount of humor mixed with good ol' fashion holiday heartwarming lessons to be learned. And, of course, Kylo Ren abs.
The LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special is set to premiere on Disney+ on Tuesday, November 17. Returning for the special are numerous fan-favorite characters and the actors who played them, including Kelly Marie Tran (Rose Tico), Billy Dee Williams (Lando Calrissian), and Anthony Daniels (C-3PO). Clone Wars actors Matt Lanter (Anakin Skywalker), Tom Kane (Yoda, Qui-Gon Jinn), James Arnold Taylor (Obi-Wan Kenobi), and Dee Bradley Baker (clone troopers) will also appear in the special.
