Entertainment Weekly recently debuted 64 photos from some of the year's upcoming blockbusters. One image in particular is a still from Illumination's upcoming adaptation of the classic Christmas story The Grinch.

The new image features the titular humbug - played by Avengers: Infinity War star Benedict Cumberbatch. The hairy and green Grinch is shoving a gingerbread cookie, which is decorated to look like Santa Claus, directly at the viewer. You can tell from the look on his face that he's lacking just as much Christmas spirit as always.

Check out the new still below:

Illumination's upcoming animated movie is based on the 1957 Dr. Seuss story How the Grinch Stole Christmas! Set to release on November 9th, it will be the third screen-adaptation of the iconic story - following the 1966 TV special of the same name and the 2000 live-action feature-length version which starred Jim Carrey as the titular grump.

This time around the Grinch will be played by Benedict Cumberbatch and directed by Yarrow Cheney as well as Scott Mosier. It's written by Michael LeSieur and Tommy Swerdlow.

What do you think of the new image? Are you looking forward to The Grinch? Check out its trailer below:
