There's been a lot of speculation that Disney and Marvel Studios will drop the first trailer for Captain Marvel at some point this week but that's yet to find its way online. Instead, the company has debuted the first teaser trailer for Tim Burton's live-action adaptation of Dumbo. This actually came as a complete surprise as there was no hype beforehand but it's bound to get fans of the cartoon talking.
The visuals look fantastic and Dumbo has been brought to life with what appear to be groundbreaking special effects. The cast is also incredible and pretty much all of them make an appearance here.
Starring Colin Farrell, Michael Keaton, Danny DeVito, Eva Green, Nico Parker Rooney, Douglas Reith, Joseph Gatt and Alan Arkin, Dumbo is set to be released on March 29th, 2019. What do you think of this first look at Disney's latest live-action remake? As always, share your thoughts in the usual place.
Circus owner Max Medici enlists former star Holt Farrier and his children Milly and Joe to care for a newborn elephant whose oversized ears make him a laughingstock in an already struggling circus. But when they discover that Dumbo can fly, the circus makes an incredible comeback, attracting persuasive entrepreneur V.A. Vandevere, who recruits the peculiar pachyderm for his newest, larger-than-life entertainment venture, Dreamland. Dumbo soars to new heights alongside a charming and spectacular aerial artist, Colette Marchant, until Holt learns that beneath its shiny veneer, Dreamland is full of dark secrets.
