The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles have been a mainstay of the comic book and animation culture since their inception and publication as a comic by Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird. The four crime-fighting brothers have since grown into a huge franchise that has even redefined the toy market!
Since the animated series, the property began to evolve to appeal to a much more child-focused audience. Still, there was always a line of maturity that kept them appealing for all ages. That is why when the first live-action film was released in 1990, the world changed, and one of the most entertaining comic book fils was born.
Mixing the edge of the comics with the fun of the cartoon, the series became a cult favorite for fans around the world. Now, to celebrate its 30th anniversary, Fathom Events is bringing the film to select theaters for one weekend this November!

Cowabunga dudes! It has been 30 years of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Movie and the live-action, feature film adaptation of the cult comic book and the popular animated television show, is returning to the big screen! After prolonged exposure to radiation, four teenage turtles--Michelangelo, Raphael, Leonardo, and Donatello--have mutated into ninjas and have begun living in the sewers of a large city. Under the guidance of a ninja master Splinter the Rat and television reporter April, the Turtles embark on a mission to run crime out of the city and battle the warlord Shredder.
