The heroes in a half shell have been popular for decades and have no intention of stopping anytime soon. In addition to the many different iterations which already exist, Seth Rogen is developing a CGI TMNT adaptation, and Shredder's Revenge is headed to Nintendo Switch.
Over on ComicBookMovie, we shared a hilariously gross video between a few actors from some of the different projects, and we actually put it together ourselves! After having exclusively spoken with Rob Paulsen, who voiced Raphael in the 1987 animated Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series and Donatello in the 2010 animated reboot, we had him give a fun shout-out to another TMNT alum - Tohoru Masamune, who played Shredder in the live-action Michael Bay 2014 film.
Rob was happy to get into character and tell Tohoru to get himself a pizza consisting of tuna fish, chocolate fudge, Doritos chips, and marshmallows. He also added that the Shredder actor's gut would thank him for it afterward.
We then took that shout-out to our buddy Tohoru, who we had spoken with multiple times about Artificial, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Inception, and of course, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. What we didn't expect was for Tohoru to actually respond with a shout-out in kind, by actually sending a video response of him making a pizza with all of the suggested ingredients - and then eating them!
Rob Paulsen, the voice of Raphael from the 1990's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon gives a special shout-out with pizza topping instructions to Tohoru Masamune, the actor who played Shredder in the 2014 live-action Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film. And Tohoru responds by actually eating the pizza!
For those interested in hearing our full TMNT chats with Rob, Tohoru, Bobby Herbeck, and Kim Dawson, we've included our episodes for each below!
