20th Century Fox has dropped another new trailer for Blue Sky Studios'
Spies in Disguise, which is slated to hit theaters this Christmas.
The upcoming CGI animated film stars Will Smith (Aladdin) and Tom Holland (Spider-Man) as a dynamic spy duo tasked with saving the world. Smith voices Lance Sterling, a smooth and suave super spy, while Holland voices Walter Beckett, an awkward scientist who creates all of the fancy gadgets that Sterling uses on his missions.
Facing a mission that requires the ultimate disguise, Walter creates the ultimate concoction that transforms Lance into a pigeon. Though it may be the most unexpected disguise, it's not exactly the most functional when it comes to fighting crime. So Lance will have to rely on Walter to perform some of the more physically demanding spy actions.
Can the two work together as a team to save the world?
Super spy Lance Sterling (Will Smith) and scientist Walter Beckett (Tom Holland) are almost exact opposites. Lance is smooth, suave and debonair. Walter is … not. But when events take an unexpected turn, this unlikely duo are forced to team up for the ultimate mission that will require an almost impossible disguise – transforming Lance into the brave, fierce, majestic… pigeon. Walter and Lance suddenly have to work as a team, or the whole world is in peril.
The song featured in the trailer is the new single "
Then There Were Two" by Mark Ronson and Anderson .Paak from “
Mark Ronson Presents The Music Of Spies In Disguise."
Spies in Disguise flies into theaters on December 25.
