Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Sony Pictures' upcoming animated feature starring Miles Morales, is one of this year's most anticipated movies. Ahead of its release later this year, the film will swing into New York Comic Con in October where the cast and crew will participate in a panel.
According to the announcement, the
Spider-Man: Into the Spider-verse panel will be held on Saturday, October 5, at 11:30 a.m. in the Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden. The panel will feature appearances from writers Phil Lord and Christopher Miller. It's also likely that the film's three stars - Shameik Moore (Miles Morales), Jake Johnson (Peter Parker), Hailee Steinfeld (Gwen Stacy) - will also make an appearance. As for the contents of the panel, Sony teases
"an inside look at the limitless possibilities of the Spider-Verse - where more than one can wear the mask." Hopefully, that includes a new trailer or more footage from the highly anticipated movie.
Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse was also prominently featured at San Diego Comic Con where fans were treated to new footage along with additional details about the film and its colorful cast of characters. Fans were also introduced to two alternate versions of the web-slinger, including
Spider-Man Noir (Nicholas Cage) and Spider-Ham (John Mulaney). Given that there are limitless possibilities in the Spider-Verse, it's possible NYCC could feature the reveal of additional variations of Spider-Man.
Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse swings into theaters December 14.
