Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse featured countless Easter Eggs, and at least one of those was cut. Early plans called for a post-credits scene to take us to The Bar With No Name, a classic location from the comic books.
It's there Spider-Man's villains tend to hang out...and where they typically take a beating from the web-slinger, of course.
In the cut stinger, The Spot was supposed to show up, laying waste to his fellow supervillains before pouring himself a drink...which would have leaked out of each of his holes. Now, we have a first look at some of the classic comic book baddies who had been set to appear (and how drastically they were reimagined).
Shared by Kris Anka, we see startling new designs for Big Wheel, a literal Doctor Octopus, Shocker, Beetle, and Mysterio. This serves as a reminder of how few villains have actually appeared in this Spider-Verse franchise so far and the sort of threats Miles Morales might face next time around.

Miles Morales returns for the next chapter of the Oscar-winning Spider-Verse saga, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. After reuniting with Gwen Stacy, Brooklyn's full-time, friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man is catapulted across the Multiverse, where he encounters a team of Spider-People charged with protecting its very existence.
But when the heroes clash on how to handle a new threat, Miles finds himself pitted against the other Spiders and must redefine what it means to be a hero so he can save the people he loves most.
The movie stars Shameik Moore, Hailee Steinfeld, Jake Johnson, Issa Rae, Daniel Kaluuya, Karan Soni, Jason Schwartzman, Brian Tyree Henry, Luna Lauren Velez, Greta Lee, Rachel Dratch, Jorma Taccone, Shea Whigham, and Oscar Isaac.
Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is now playing in theaters.
