New details regarding Paramount Pictures' upcoming Sonic The Hedgehog movie have leaked online. Not only did we get our first look at the titular speedster via this leak, but we also now know who Paramount wanted to cast in the film.
Along with an internal production poster, came a cast sheet which lists the plethora of actors who Paramount ideally wanted to play both Sonic himself as well as Officer Tom. Ben Schwartz and James Marsden are currently attached as Sonic and Tom respectively, however in Paramount's ideal world they would've cast Avengers: Infinity War stars Tom Holland and Chris Pratt in each role.
Check out the leaked cast list below:
Pratt is just the first choice for Office Tom, but Paramount also considered the likes of: Chris Evans, Paul Rudd, Jake Johnson, Michael B. Jordan, Bill Hader, Jason Segal, Justin Timberlake, Adam Pally, Ansel Elgort, and Milo Ventimiglia.
Holland is also one of many actors Paramount considered for the titular role. Josh Gad, Chris Pratt, Andy Samberg, Bill Hader, Will Forte, Jim Parsons, Paul Rudd, Charlie Day, Adam Devine were also considered.
Interestingly; Pratt, Hader, and Rudd were considered for both Sonic and Tom - while Marsden and Schwartz, the pair who were eventually cast, aren't mentioned on either list.
What do you think of the supposed cast list? Who would you have liked to see voice Sonic and star as Tom?
Sonic The Hedgehog is set to race in theatres on November 8th, 2019.
