Sonic the Hedgehog will race into theatres on February 14th, 2020. Starring Ben Schwartz as the titular speedster, Jim Carrey as Dr. Robotnik, James Marsden, and Tika Sumpter.

Though the upcoming film skipped an appearance at The Game Awards 2019, the official Sonic the Hedgehog movie's Twitter account recently released an exciting, new promotional video for the film (via Gamefragger).

This promo features a bit of action-packed new footage as Sonic takes on some of Dr. Robotnik's drones. There's also a fun reference to do with Dwayne Johnson A.K.A. The Rock. Sonic appears and asks: "Where am I? What year is it? Is The Rock president?" This being a reference to the actor teasing that he might eventually run for President.
