Between the casting of Ben Schwartz (Parks and Recreation) and Neil McDonough (Legends of Tomorrow), August has been a pretty big month for news on Paramount's Sonic the Hedgehog film, and now the movie has received a new release date.

Paramount recently made some changes to their 2019 release schedule, and while a number of their films experienced some major changes, Sonic the Hedgehog only saw a minor shift in dates.

Prior to the studio's announcement, the upcoming feature was officially scheduled to release on November 15, 2019, but now we know Sonic the Hedgehog will race into theaters on November 8.

The Ben Schwartz-starrer will be directed by Jeff Fowler (Gopher Broke) and has Deadpool director Tim Miller attached as an executive producer.
