Based on the popular and iconic video game series and character of the same name; Sonic the Hedgehog arrived in theatres on February 14th and stars Ben Schwartz as the voice of the titular speedster, Jim Carrey as Dr. Robotnik, James Marsden as Tom Wachowski, Tika Sumpter as Maddie Wachowski, and Jeff Fowler as director.
Prior to release, Paramount Pictures released a couple of clips from the movie online. Almost a month after release and they're back at it. Specifically,
Paramount Pictures Australia has shared two new clips from
Sonic the Hedgehog — both of which take place extremely early on in the movie.
The first clip is where the live-action
Sonic the Hedgehog movie begins. Schwartz narrates as Sonic over a young iteration of the blue blur as he races through Green Hill Zone (an iconic location from the video games). The second clip features shortly thereafter. After saving a turtle's life, Sonic (now a teenager) decides to let the slow, little creature experience a bit of speed for once.
