Previously released teasers and trailers for Disney's live-action Aladdin have already given us a decent idea for what to expect from Guy Ritchie's adaptation. But for fans of the original animated film on the fence about seeing their beloved cartoon come to live on the big screen, Disney is offering the chance to enjoy a sneak peek.
Starting this weekend, guests of Disney's Hollywood Studios, Disneyland Park (Main Street Opera House), or the Disney Cruise Line can check out a sneak peek of Aladdin. Disney showing sneak peeks of their upcoming movies is nothing new for the company; they've done the same for
Dumbo,
The Incredibles 2, and plenty more.
The presentation usually includes a quick behind-the-scenes video with the cast and crew talking about the production of the film, along with a brief snippet from the movie (usually towards the beginning to avoid spoilers). Trailers for
Aladdin have teased the various songs in the film, but maybe the sneak peek will provide a full offering.
There was a bit of skepticism surrounding the live-action adaptation initially, but more fans have seemed to come around with the more recent trailers. Perhaps a better look in the form of an unedited clip will help even more.
A thrilling and vibrant live-action adaptation of Disney’s animated classic, “Aladdin” is the exciting tale of the charming street rat Aladdin, the courageous and self-determined Princess Jasmine and the Genie who may be the key to their future.
Aladdin rides into theaters next month on May 24.
