Warner Bros.’ live-action-animation hybrid Tom and Jerry has already tapped Chlöe Grace Moretz (The Miseducation of Cameron Post) and Michael Peña (Ant-Man and the Wasp) for key roles, and now a new report reveals another star has joined the cast.

According to Deadline, Saturday Night Live star Colin Jost has earned an unknown role in the project based on the popular cartoon from William Hanna and Joseph Barbera.

While Jost isn't exactly known for his performances on the big screen, his extensive work on SNL has seen him win a WGA award and earn ten Primetime Emmy nominations.

Warner Bros.' Tom and Jerry film is currently scheduled to race into theaters on April 16, 2021 and is directed by Tim Story (Fantastic Four), with a script by Bryan Schulz, Cornelius Uliano, and Kevin Costello.
