Samuel L. Jackson On What Marvel Studios Can Learn From The INCREDIBLES 2

It's probably a coin toss as to whether Frozone or Nick Fury is the coolest of Samuel L. Jackson's many, many roles. However, the legendary actor thinks there's one thing Marvel can learn from his Pixar gig.

In a tough pinch, who do you want coming to your rescue? Nick Fury or  Lucius Best, better known as Frozone?  That's a tough call.  However, there is one thing actor Samuel L. Jackson is sure of and it's the fact that the Marvel films and modern superhero movies in general need to have some practicality to their approach.  Namely, how do any of these characters put food on the table and pay their bills?

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, Jackson stated, "That ordinariness of who you really are is as interesting as this super thing you can do. How do you live every day? What do you do? Who are you without your uniform, or your costume?"

He added, "[The Incredibles] are a real family with real family problems. It’s a very universal story, and you come to realize that being a superhero is an avocation. It doesn’t put food on the table. It doesn’t keep the lights on. So you’ve got to do something else to be a part of real life."

How did Captain America pay for that apartment he had in The Winter Soldier? Or for that matter, how did Thor pay rent when he was boarding with Daryl?

The Incredibles 2 hit theaters today, June 15 and has already set one (of many more to come) box office records.
