It wouldn't be an exaggeration to say that Warner Bros. and Legendary Entertainment's
Detective Pikachu is one of the most anticipated movies of the year, and that's saying a lot; considering that this year a new
Star Wars movie is coming out, and
Avengers: Endgame is releasing in a few more days.
Detective Pikachu Director, Rob Letterman, has done a fantastic job bringing to life the world of Pokémon by including all of the elements that fans of the Pocket Monster series have come to expect from the first live-action
Pokémon movie.
Ryan Reynolds has recently shared a new trailer for
Detective Pikachu and, surprisingly enough, it is quite the tear-jerker; alluding to the movie having even more heart than we already thought it had.
Take a look:
The first-ever live-action Pokémon movie, “POKÉMON Detective Pikachu” stars Ryan Reynolds as the titular character in the first-ever live-action movie based on the iconic face of the global Pokémon brand—one of the world’s most popular, multi-generation entertainment properties and most successful media franchises of all time.
Detective Pikachu will release in theatres on the 10th of May in 2019.
