Ahead of San Diego Comic-Con 2018, Dark Horse Comics has revealed a new graphic novel based on Disney's
Wreck-It Ralph. The new novel will actually serve as a prequel to the upcoming animated sequel
Ralph Breaks the Internet, filling the gap between the first film and this one.
Disney Ralph Breaks the Internet—Click Start: Choose Your Own Internet Adventure (quite the mouthful) will expand upon the adventures of Ralph and Vanellope in two stores separate stories spanning 64 pages. As you know, in the upcoming movie, Wreck-It Ralph and Vanellope von Schweetz journey through the world wide web in order to find a piece to fix her broken game
Sugar Rush. Of course, the internet is a giant place and in this prequel story - written by Joe Caramagna and Amy Mebberson - you will help guide the two through the internet in a choose-your-own-adventure-style graphic novel.
In addition to the prequel story, there will be a bonus 8-page short sequel to the movie where Vanellope explores the wonders of OhMyDisney.com, the official blog of The Walt Disney Company. The website, which offers news, interactive articles, quizzes and more, is featured in
Ralph Breaks the Internet and was actually spotlighted in the recent trailer.
Disney Ralph Breaks the Internet—Click Start: Choose Your Own Internet Adventure will hit store shelves on December 12, 2018. It's currently available for pre-order on
Amazon,
Barnes & Noble, and at your
local comic shop. As for the movie,
Ralph Breaks the Internet is set to wreck theaters on November 21, 2018.
