Pixar in Real Life (or
Pixar IRL for short) is an upcoming live-action reality series that will be available to stream on Disney+. Pixar Animation Studios are responsible for some of the greatest and most beloved animated films and characters of all time. So, how do people react to the films being brought to life?
This new series will see characters like Dash, Russell, and WALL-E brought into real life to interact with regular people. Disney has released an official trailer for
Pixar in Real Life which shows off what some of these segments will involve. For example, there's a portion of the show which will recreate the scene from
Finding Dory in which Hank controls a baby stroller.
Thus far, the Pixar films which the series has been shown to imitate are
Up,
WALL-E,
The Incredibles,
Finding Dory, and
Inside Out. Pixar in Real Life is just one of the animation studio's new contributions to Disney+ as they also recently announced that all of their Sparkshorts will be available to stream —
find out more on that here.
