Disney has released new television spot for Pixar's
Toy Story 4. While some of the footage is repurposed from previous teasers and trailers, there's one particular moment that introduces one of the franchise's most intimidating villains - a cat.
Toy Story 4 will follow Woody, Buzz, and the rest of a gang on a family roadtrip with Bonnie. But when the little girl's new "toy," Forky, runs away, Woody is forced to chase after him. At some point, they'll wind up at a carnival where Woody will be reunited with Bo Peep, while Buzz meets Bunny and Ducky, a couple of game prizes who quickly find out how fragile life can be as a stuffed animal.
We're still a few months away from the release of Toy Story 4, but we can expect Disney to ramp up marketing soon. Following the theatrical release of
Avengers: Endgame next week, we have the highly anticipated
Aladdin live-action adaptation in May, and then
Toy Story 4 in June. Check out the newest TV spot below.
Woody has always been confident about his place in the world and that his priority is taking care of his kid, whether that’s Andy or Bonnie. But when Bonnie adds a reluctant new toy called “Forky” to her room, a road trip adventure alongside old and new friends will show Woody how big the world can be for a toy.
Toy Story 4 arrives in theaters on June 21, 2019.
