Maleficent: Mistress of Evil is an upcoming sequel to 2014's Maleficent. Angelina Jolie will be reprising the titular role and Elle Fanning will also be returning as Princess Aurora.

Juno Temple, Sam Riley, and Imelda Staunton will also be reprising their roles from the 2014 film. However, the sequel will also introduce some new faces to the franchise: Ed Skrein, Chiwetel Ejiofor, and Michelle Pfiefer — among others.

The sequel is set to arrive in theatres in just over a month's time on October 18th. Just in time for Halloween and, speaking of the haunted night, a new teaser has announced that Friday the 13th will see ticket sales go live. So, if you're particularly looking forward to Maleficent: Mistress of Evil, you'll be able to bagsy your spot as soon as tomorrow!

You can check out the new teaser below. It came courtesy of Disney's official Twitter account (@Disney) and features a bit of new footage which wasn't included in the film's prior trailers.

The years have been kind to Maleficent and Aurora. Their relationship, born of heartbreak, revenge and ultimately love, has flourished. Yet the hatred between man and the fairies still exists. Aurora’s impending marriage to Prince Phillip is cause for celebration in the kingdom of Ulstead and the neighboring Moors, as the wedding serves to unite the two worlds. When an unexpected encounter introduces a powerful new alliance, Maleficent and Aurora are pulled apart to opposing sides in a Great War, testing their loyalties and causing them to question whether they can truly be family.

Maleficent: Mistress of Evil is set to arrive in theatres on October 18th, 2019.
