Coming out of Cannes as the overall Grand Prize winner, I Lost My Body is already being pegged as a serious awards contender. Winning out over a number of other celebrated live-action titles at Cannes was likely the element that drew Netflix's interest. In addition to the prestige, Chaplin also took home 15,000 euros ($16,8K USD) in prize money. The film will compete later this month at the Annecy animation festival.
