Maleficent: Mistress of Evil was recently revealed to the world with an exciting teaser trailer. The Disney film is a sequel to 2014's
Maleficent which itself was a loose retelling of the classic
Sleeping Beauty tale.
The sequel will see the return of Angeline Jolie as the titular, evil fairy godmother. Elle Fanning and others from the first instalment will also be returning, but
Maleficent: Mistress of Evil will also introduce new members of the cast. The most prominent of those new actors being Michelle Pfiefer.
Disney has released some new posters for
Mistress of Evil which show off its three main stars. They released them all stitched together as well as seperate via their Twitter (

As well as Michelle Pfiefer, the film will also add Ed Skrein, Michelle Pfeiffer, and Chiwetel Ejiofor. Juno Temple, Sam Riley, and Imelda Staunton will all be reprising their roles from the first
Maleficent movie.

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales) is in the director's chair whilst Micah Fitzerman-Blue, Noah Harpster, and Linda Woolverton pen the script.
Maleficent: Mistress of Evil is set to arrive in theatres on October 8th, 2019.
